My cooking tragedies
I accidently dumped too much cinnamon in an oriental rice dish! I thought I could dip enough out. Wrong!!!! YUCK!!!

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada
While I have never made the whole recipe, I have used this marinade for beef, chicken and pork. It is the BEST Mexican/Southwestern marinade I have been ever found. I have made a few alterations, nothing major. I use fresh oregano and I add the chopped onion,fresh cilantro and 1 fresh chopped jalapeno to the marinade. Excellent!

Christmas Eve Beef Stew
Okay,I really did not think this was anything special, tasty definitely but...my family LOVED it! There were not any left-overs. ALL GONE. I used fresh herbs instead of dried. I added a touch of red pepper flakes because we like it spicy. And I did have to thicken it with cornstarch at the end. its a keeper!
