About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love baking during the holidays, especially Christmas cookies and making fudge and candy.
My cooking triumphs
An AWESOME toffee recipe I found right here on allrecipes. I have many success stories from the recipes I have found on this website.
My cooking tragedies
I just made a batch of fudge that didn't turn out, same recipe I have made for years and it was crumbly and grainy. This NEVER happens to me, so I was pretty dumbfounded by my terrible fudge.

Greek Chicken
My family went crazy over this recipe! I let it marinade for about a day and a half and I used skinless boneless breasts. The only thing I would do differently is maybe salt the chicken before putting it in the marinade, it was almost a little bland, but everyone scarfed it down. And the next day they put it on a spinach salad and said it was to die for. I will definately make this one again, just add a little salt to it.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy
I just finished making this and I am SO happy, it turned out great! I hope I'm not early in praising it so much, it is still chilling in the refridgerator, but it looks marvelous! I tasted a piece that dried on the spoon and it tastes great. I was so nervous about making this but I followed the instructions to the tee, cooked it to 285, used good quality butter, and it looks great. Can't wait to pass this out to my family and friends!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge
I have made this recipe for several years, and it is just the best recipe I have yet to find. I feel bad for those who tried the recipe and it didn't turn out. I can only say that I could not make decent fudge for years and that there is definately an art to making it. This one is a keeper for sure, it is simply the best.
