About this Cook
I am an Army wife and mother of 4...3 girls and 1 boy. Life is never dull and ever changing. We all love to cook together. My husband is an excellent cook. He has taught me alot of what I do. I love all of them, and enjoy cooking for them 3+ times a day, plus desserts.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook sour cream green chile enchiladas, meatloaf, sweet potatoes, 2 different style of tacos, sphaghetti, and anything on a grill.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite would have to be baking and decorating Christmas cookies together. Since we are always away from our other family, we try to do just what we would do if we were home. Another one is frying turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
I have finally STARTED to master cake decorating. I love doing it, and my children love when their birthdays come around. :)
My cooking tragedies
I have ruined more than one cake and ended up having to go storebought. :( I have burnt a few things on the grill during a BIG cookout...it was awful! I've learned it's all in paying attention to the time. :)

Stuffed Green Pepper Cups
This turned out absolutely FABULOUS! I followed the recipe EXACTLY the first time, then changed the ground beef for mild pork sausage for another try. The sausage one had a more traditional flavor, and was OH SO GOOD! My husband and children ate SO much! I will DEFINTELY make this again, and again, and again...lol YUMMY!

Split Pea Soup
SO delicious! My kids HATE peas, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. They are all 4 finishing up seconds! THank you so much for such a wonderful recipe with an awesome flavor! I didn't have the bay leaves, and it turned out wonderful anyway. YUMMY! Definitely making this again!

Four Egg Yellow Cake
This cake turned out AWESOME! I made it for my husband's Battle Buddy's birthday, and he LOVED it! I frosted it with Fudge frosting, and it was delicious! It does come out heavier and a little more dry than a box mix, but what cake from scratch doesn't? This was awesome and a definite make again. :)
