I like long, romantic walks on the beach... Just kidding. I'm adventurous and would love nothing better than to tour the world, sampling the worlds tastes. I love cooking for people, and I often force feed others.
My favorite things to cook
I love simple things with basic ingredients. My favorite tastes are garlic, basil, rosemary, and cilantro. I love red meat. I like to experiment with cooking with beans and soup.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up with a mother that put together a family dinner every night. Since I work, I tend to cook in bulk and preserve the leftovers for the rest of the week. I haven't done this much (because of space), but I would love to have themed dinner parties.
My cooking triumphs
Boy, there are a lot of positive things, but no outright triumphs.
My cooking tragedies
I've had my share of burned noodles and burned pans.

Chunky Applesauce
This turned out well. I didn't have to add any water as some have suggested; the apples gave off enough water during cooking. I found it to be a little too sweet, but then again, maybe my apples weren't tart enough. I also didn't mash the apples. It was saucy enough without that, but I used softer apples too.
