Apple Turnovers

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
Used two medium sized apples, perfect amount for 8 turnovers! The sauce didn't really thicken, so next time I think Id use a bit less brown sugar..they were delicious though!

Smothered Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
I had no problems like others seemed to have with this recipe. I scaled it down for 2, browned my pork chops with my regular seasonings for about 5 minutes a side then pulled them. Browned some onion and garlic, added flour until it was browned..then added my broth, made a tasty gravy! Put pork chops back in for 10 minutes covered and done!

Marshmallow Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
Amazing brownies, made these for an anniversary present for my husband. Made exactly as written except for adding almost 1/2C of cocoa powder so they wouldn't be blond brownies. DELICIOUS! I'd like to add that I baked mine at 325 for 25 minutes and they were perfect, maybe it was because I used a glass dish?

Amber's Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2008
I made this not knowing what to expect, my husband and I both agree it was WAY better than most chinese places around here. Instead of bell pepper I used carrot. The sauce by itself tastes too much like teriyaki, so I added a bit more honey, about a tbsp of brown sugar and a spoon full of regular sugar ( I ran out of brown ) It wasn't overly sweet this way either, still way less than what you get at restaurants. I used sesame oil/olive oil spray to fry the chicken and vegetables and ginger powder instead of five spice, couldnt find it. Amazing, my only regret was making enough for just two servings!

Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2008
I finally found my recipe for chicken sandwiches! I put a hamburger bun, the fat free shredded cheese, and garlic/onion powder in my food processor until its the consistency of bread crumbs..Mix a little ranch/dijon together to dip the chicken then coated the chicken with my bread/cheese mix..after they are coated, I pressed the left over mix onto the pieces (stuck REALLY well when the cheese is cut up with the bread crumbs) cooked for 20 minutes, flipped half way...AMAZING! the cheese wasnt hard like some people said they got, melty and delicious!

Broccoli Beef I

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
Wow, this is better than all the takeout beef with broccoli I've had. I doubled the sauce and served it over rice. I used powered ginger because I didnt want to waste a full root. Sauted some onions with the broccoli, then added the sauce, then the sirloin which I par cooked so it wouldnt get over done. Not chewy at all! Delicious!

Bacon Chicken II

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
I cut this down to 2 servings and used no where near a full bottle of sauce, and it was still really strong. I cooked some turkey bacon and diced onions to top my chicken, baked at 350 for 20 minutes, very good!

Frozen Caramel Latte

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
The best recipe on the site for a frozen coffee, right amounts of ingredients for a good consistency! Fantastic without the whipped cream as well :D Edit: I double the recipe and its enough for two large mugs of this deliciousness :D I use about 8 ice cubes, could probably add a few more but dont want to risk it getting watered down, and I use 1C of milk. I dont blend the milk, I just pour it in the blender after the ice is done, this cuts down on that big "foam" that turns up at the end!
