Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
This was fabulous, it tasted just how my mom makes it! Only she does it the hard way and this was so easy! I did make a few changes - seasoned the chicken with garlic salt, onion powder, and pepper, used a can of chicken broth instead of water, used 1 cream of mushroom and 1 cream of chicken. Cooked on high for 5 hours and then shredded the chicken using 2 forks. Used bisquick to make the dumplings (approximately 10 of them) and let it cook on high for another 30-40 more minutes. I had to add another can of chicken broth so the dumplings didn't dry out. DELICIOUS!!!
