I am NOT REVIEWING THE COOKIE in the recipe JUST THE FILLING...That being said...I use it on my oatmeal raisin cookies and chocolate chip.Kid's and adult's like them and i always get rave reviews.I wrap in plastic wrap and toss them in the freezer untill we are ready to go and they thaw out great by the time we are ready to eat them.We take them along for our picnics or snacks on trips.It is almost the same buttercream icing i use when decorating my cakes...Instead of real egg white's i use meringue powder.Works the same as real egg whites but you wont be taking a chance and getting sick.Another things i do differantly is add 1 tsp butter flavored extract & instead of milk i use cream--It really cuts the sweetness to the icing!So, if you find it to sweet...Just a helpful hint to help you out,Use cream instead of milk and add 1 tsp butter flavored extract :)

These cookies are good.Easy..My 11 year old made with my help (her first cookie's!)That being said...I think they could use more spice & more raisan's.We will make this again but add more of the spices & add some nut's for crunch. Thanx for the recipe :)

Very good recipe!I dont usually do much with box mixes but thought i would give this one a try and my kids loved them.Will make again :))

I just finished making this recipe.I did use unsalted butter(i do not use margarine or salted butter ever)I doubled the recipe as i am making two cake's tomorrow.Other than that i fallowed the recipe to a "T".Very easy.But,would not get thick (just a matter of personnal taste not the recipe)as i would have like.So,at that piont i threw in 2 Tbls cornstarch(keep in mind i made a double batch)It worked out great!!After i added the pecan's & coconut i really think it could use more coconut.So, i threw more in and it is just perfect for our taste.Thank you i will make this my stanard coconut pecan icing/filling recipe :))

Yummy!!I fallowed the recipe to a "T",tasted it(was good) but, needed some added flavor.So,this is what i than did.I added baby bella mushrooms,more garlic (about 2 more cloves),1/2 tsp thyme,a pinch of rosemary and a splash of cream at the end just to make it creamier.Very easy,Yummy and my kids loved it.Will Make again,Thank you :))

I had two differant kinds of pasta i needed to use and some canned tomatoes. I came here as always.Glad i did!! I Fallowed the recipe to a "T" And it is sooo yummy!! Super simple,tasty and budget friendly.The best part my kids loved this and i do mean love it!!Thnx much will be making again and again.Next time i will throw in some zucchini & maybe spinach.This is so versatile and if u find it a little bland just up the herbs,ect according to your taste.Oh i did top mine with some shredded provolone that needed to be used up.Great Saturday lunch or a quick week night dinner served with salad and some garlic roll's!! Yummy!! *Side note* If you do not have the cream no worries!!This sauce taste really good even before you put the cream and butter in.*UPDATE* I just finished making this again for lunch.This time i did throw in some chopped fresh spinach, grated carrot & Zuchini..Yum!! My kid's gobbled it right up and didnt even notice that the veggies were in there :))

YUM!! I did omit the green peppers becuase i did not have any on hand.Was looking for a mac salad like my aunt makes and with her add-ins of 1/2 cup frozen peas, 3 hard cooked eggs,1/2 cup sour cream,cheese and diced ham.This was very very close to her's Thanks will make again :)

Very easy. The only change made was double the sauce and i did not use the water from the the soaking beans.Added alot more flavor and everyone loved them Thanks :)

I converted the recipe down to 4 servings.Made as directed.In the end i had to add a bit more mayo for my taste.But, other than that very good base for potato salad.will make again thanks :)

This was ok my kids didnt care for it to much.They thought it was to spicey.Probally wont make again.

I made this in the crock pot(with the pasta) I did cut back on the brown sugar,added garlic(i add it to almost everything,lol),Threw in some red pepper as well,used chili beans(didnt have kidney),and added about 1tbls chili powder and a can of whole kernal corn.I added(boiled it untill it was almost done)the pasta the last 30 minutes or so of cooking.It was very good and very hearty.My kid's loved and both agree it is a keeper.I will be making this again.Thnx :)
