I work full time for a local school district, and have a sewing business on the side. I have been sewing for weddings since I was 15. In my spare time I like to bake for my 8 grandchildren. Desserts have always been my specialty, I love baking. But now I have to stay away from wheat and sugar, so I am experimenting with baking without them. I also love hot and spicy, so my cooking is heading more in that direction and away from the sweets. I am of German ancenstry and have some recipes that have been handed down, but most of my cooking has been influenced by the many places I have lived or visited. I guess moving about every 2 years while growing up had some possitive influence!
