This recipe was very easy. The taste un-beliveable. I changed up a bit and added a touch of yellow food color for presentation and added banana extract for a bit more banana flavor and I let my neighbors judge and then the family. they were all going bananas. Thanks Ms. Pfeffer!

I had the pleasure of tasting this recipe yesterday at my cousin's and it was delicious! I do not eat squash, but I do NOW. My cousin told me she would email me the recipe, but I couldn't wait, so here I am googling. I definately plan on making it for Thanksgiving, my nextt biggest dinner that i am hosting.

I have been preparing this recipe for at least twenty years. My personal favorite, along with my family and friends is "Peach" dumpcake. It serves as a substitute for peach cobbler without going through the hassle of making homemade dough. Also, I sometimes add coconut and pecans or just pecans alone with a dollop of vanilla ice-cream! Yum
