About this Cook
I am a young newlywed. My husband served two years in Iraq. He is my little favorite soldier and hero. I mainly cook for the two of us only. We don't have any kids, yet. I am just learning how to cook and I am doing well. I would love tips and advice from any other members.
My favorite things to cook
Anything. I love to bake, shake, fry, saute, grill and I am in love with my slowcooker!
My cooking tragedies
Cheesecake, cheesecake, cheesecake.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs
These were very delicious. Moist, tender and very flavorful. Next time, I think I'll double more of the honey. I got more of a soy sauce kick then a honey one. Either that or I will simply baste with honey alone! Great recipe!

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes
These mashed potatoes were yummy. I used to never boil the garlic cloves with the potatoes. Actually, I never even heard of it till I came across your recipe! I just used to cut the tip off of the garlic and drizzle it with olive oil. Bake it and then squeeze the juices out into the potatoes. This makes a whole new difference. Hubby, who likes his potatoes skinless and very creamy kept going on and on how he LOVES them this way. I think we have a keeper!

Perfect Baked Potato
This was by far the best baked potato ever! I did cheat a little though. I cooked it on HIGH for 5 minutes in the microwave. I mixed olive oil with coarse salt in a ziploc bag and mixed it all together. Then I placed the baked potato on the oven rack for 35-45 minutes on 350 degrees. Delicisio!
