About this Cook
I am a mom of 3 (2 boys and 1 girl) and love to cook, but with little time on my hands so the quick and easy recipes are excellent for me. Also, the crock pot comes in very handy!
My favorite things to cook
Spaghetti and meatballs (homemade), Chili (homemade), Sweet Italian Chicken, Sweet and Sour Meatballs and Chicken and Noodles over Mashed Potatoes! I have a great recipe that I am going to submit that I made up myself.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to try new recipes, especially homemade menu's. I also love the taste of food that has been slow cooked! I continue to explore slow cooker recipes!I am good and getting better all the time, Thanks to All Recipes!
My cooking triumphs
Holiday meals, Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners are a tradition in every family, and I am pleased every year that my family loves mine! It took me a few tries to get everything right, but it is all worth it!
My cooking tragedies
I have never been able to make homemade gravy! I requested a recipe for any kind of gravy and got good response! Thanks allrecipe members!

Biscuits for Two
I tried these today and have to say was a little dissappointed. They did not rise at all, but actually had a good taste. I added 1/4 tsp. sugar to this recipe which I think made the taste better. I think next time maybe I will use a little more baking powder and as another reviewer stated add about 1/8 tsp. baking soda. We'll see.

Cherry Pork Chops
I read all reviews b4 making this dish and decided that just the cherry pie filling was not enough to keep them from sticking to the crock pot badly so I added a can of crushed pineapple to it. I also added some of my favorite spices, (basil, garlic granules, marjoram and cayenne pepper. These actually came out very, very tender and juicy. I cooked them on low for 4-5 hours and 4 would have been just enough. I will be using this one frequently as it is quick, easy and tasty! Thanks for another great recipe!

Tender Pork Roast
I made this pork roast tonight and it was very juicy and tender! I did change it up just a bit, used brown sugar and honey instead of white sugar and honey mustard instead of ground mustard. It did turn out very tasty! Thanks and I will definetly be making this one again!
