Crispy Orange Beef
The beef turned out crispy and delicious. I put the meat in the freezer for about an hour then sliced it into very thin strips. And I just tossed it with the cornstarch, then tossed it into hot oil. Then made the sauce. We all thought the sauce was really too sweet thus the 4 stars. Also wish I had added some heat to it. Also followed other reviewers and used only one tablespoon ginger. Am now going to try Sandra Lee's recipe from the food network and see it I like it better.

Absolute Mexican Cornbread
I made this recipe and took other reviewers suggestion and added 1 can of drained corn, only 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 c. melted butter. Took it to an office luncheon/meeting and it was the hit of everything served. It was heavy, moist and very delicious. And it was very easy to make. Will defintely make again.

Potato Latkes I
Wow! I have never had such good potato latkes. These were so unbelieveably delicious! I'm having a brunch so made them the night before. Then reheated in the oven the next morning and served with sour cream and chives. YUMMY! I took the advice from other readers and used only 1 egg for the 2 c. of potatoes. I also used ore -ida frozen shredded hashbrowns that I had thawed in the frig. Instead of grated onion used 1/2 -1 tsp. onion powder and 1 tsp. garlic salt instead of plain salt. And these were a snap to make. This recipe is a real WINNER!
