I have been cooking ever since my first time at age 3 when I warmed up spagettios for my little sister and garnished it with pepperoni. I have always cooked for big crowds, with 4 children it's hard not too. I don't think I could ever cook for just 2 people! My husband will be so sick of leftovers when the kids are grown!
My favorite things to cook
pretty much anything that reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. I also love to barbeque the real way.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I started doing a traditional Irish dinner for St Patrick's day about 8 years ago right before the birth of my 4th child who was born the 20th. We have friends and family that show up for it every year. I started cooking 3 corned beef briskets and now am up to 10.
My cooking triumphs
I think anytime I make something that gets eaten up is a triump! i am always changing recipes around before trying them the original way. I usually have to wait to tell people what I added or they won't try to eat it!
My cooking tragedies
My second turkey I didn't realize that sometimes they hid the giblets in the neck flap. Needless to say I have yet to live that down,
