About this Cook
I'm still discovering who I am. Most people will tell you I'm very into Art. And that I'm shy; aloof; mature; fickle; and sensitive. Art and Cooking/Baking have honestly been the only true joys I've had in a long while. I feel like you can really express yourself with a paintbrush and food.
My favorite things to cook
Scones. Chicken. Stuffed Mushrooms.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sadly I have no family cooking traditions...
My cooking triumphs
-Mashed Potatoes- -Rice Crispy Treats- -Chocolate Chip Cookies- -Pancakes- -Stir Fry- -Scones and Muffins- Can make with both hands tied behind my back! Okay MAYBE not both hands.
My cooking tragedies
Thanksgiving 2006 -was in charge of baking the pumpkin pie- not pretty.

Simple White Cake
This cake was all right, it wasn't awful. But I feel that there's a better recipe out there. The texture it produced was odd. It wasn't "dry," but the crumb was small and grainy. And it wasn't fluffy.

Nutty Stuffed Mushrooms
I had a craving for stuffed mushrooms tonight and this recipe was wonderful! I added some mozzarella cheese to mine though. But I'll definitely make these again and again. The pecans are a great touch.
