Best Bread Machine Bread
I didn't think this recipe would turn out properly because, as with other reviews, my machine directs to NOT allow the yeast to touch the liquid...the exact opposite of this recipe. I was never really satisfied with the texture of the bread from my machine. It was always heavy and dense. I decided to give this unconventional recipe a try and I was so glad I did! It is AMAZING! The texture is perfect....better than any homemade bread I'd ever produced. I did increase the salt to 1.5 tsp and increased the sugar to 3 Tbls on the advice of other reviewers. Hands down, the best basic bread recipe ever! Thank you for submitting this recipe! I've learned my lesson: always give the unexpected a try!
