This is an awesome traditional Cuban Sandwich. Most Cubans (especially here in Miami) prepare it with thinly sliced pork instead of the Turkey. This is the more traditional way to make it. :)

made this last night for my boyfriend and family. they really did enjoy this dish! a little more work than the variety of instant potatoes offered at the grocery store, but nothing beats meals from scratch. the only recommendation i could give would be to add more cheese, and if another type of cheese is preferred, go for it! other than that... it was very good. would make again!!!

made this recipe last night for my boyfriend, mother and grandparents. everyone loved it. my only complaint was not chopping the onions small enough. being someone who doesn't like to know the onions are there, some pieces were a little too large (but again, this was my own fault). also, was a little watery. when making it for more than 2 people (like in my case) i placed all the meat in one loaf pan, and had to cook longer. all in all, it turned out well :)
