Pasta with Fresh Tomato Sauce
a great summer dish,i use fresh tomatos peeled deseeded and diced,a handfull of basil, one of parsley and one of spearmint, also a clove of garlic, salt and olive oil.mix well, the greens finely chopped, cover and marinate for a few hours in the fridge.then cook the pasta, preferably spaghetti and mix well with the sauce.you can even eat the whole thing cold from the fridge...fresh and delicious!

Vaselopita - Greek New Years Cake
Fantastic recipe!I am greek, living in Athens, was looking for a new vassilopita recipe and tried this one...my husband said it is the best he ever had,my children loved it,it was consumed on the spot, even after a rich new year's dinner! I topped it with our favorite creem cheese frosting, and wrote on top of it 2007 as is the tradition, using mini m+m's.Should have taken a picture!
