Would have to be the recipes that have been handed down to me from my grandmother. It just makes me feel good to know that I am continuing a tradition that she started so long ago. I have learned so much about cooking from her and knowing that I will always have her recipes makes me happy. Is Thanksgiving, I roasted my first turkey by myself only a few years ago, And if I do say so myself it was darn good and juicy! I covet making Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners because I enjoy bringing the whole family together over foods we all enjoy and share fond memories of. My latest cooking triump is finally finding a chocolate chip cookie recipe that is perfect. There are too many to name really. I only recently figured out pie crust after many failed attempts. I get distracted very easily and am the queen of burning things when I use the broiler.
