I am a mother of one son and have been married since 1997. I live in a small town where I guess I'm sort of known for my cooking. I get asked often for cooking contributions - and I love it! Right now I'm into pies.Fall is my favorite season and pies are definitely Fall food. My favorite pastime is cooking and "tweaking" recipes - but I also like to bake cakes, bars, quick breads etc. Christmas eve cookie making (for Santa) with husband and son. Making old family recipes for get-togethers. Planning parties and pot-lucks. I'm participating in cookie swaps this year- have a feeling those will be a new tradition. Caramel brownies, whoopie pies, deviled eggs, beef stew, homemade spaghetti sauce, various cakes. Carrot casserole, homemade pie crust (will keep trying!)
