About this Cook
I have a 15 month old little girl, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 1husband. Wow that was a lot to type lol :) I enjoy cooking for my family but just wish I had more time to. I usually try to find fast and easy recipes for the weekedays since I don't have much time when I get home from work.
My favorite things to cook
I have the most fun baking cakes and cookies. Maybe because it's less clean up. I seem to always end up making cassaroles :) I cook a lot of chicken and ground beef dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
During the holidays my Mother and I always make sweet potatoes cassarole with marshmellows and a broccoli and cheese cassarole. Both are delicious!
My cooking triumphs
Anytime a recipe turns out good it makes me happy :)
My cooking tragedies
I once almost burned down the kitchen in my first apartment from burning breakfast sausage. The pan caught on fire and I then poured water on a grease fire hehehe that was the wrong thing to do! Glad I learned more about cooking before I met my husband.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
Turned out pretty good! I took the advice and put the pb cups in the freezer for about 30 min. When the cookies came out I waited about 4 min and the put the pb cups on top. I followed the recipe exact.Tasted great! Thanks for the recipe!

Quick Chicken Stew
This was a fast and easy recipe with not a lot of clean up. My family enjoyed it very much! I changed it a little. I put frozen carrots and corn. 1 can of diced tomatoes with onions and garlic already in it. 1 can of regular diced tomatoes although I only used half the tomatoes from the second jar but all of the juice. I used garlic powder and cayenne pepper for seasoning. I let it simmer for about 15 min. and served over rice. Turned out very good. Thanks this will be used again!

Ground Beef 'n' Biscuits
I really enjoyed this. It was not my husband's favorite but he still ate two plates :) I made it a little different. I did not use celery or peas. I cooked ground beef with the onions, drained and the added broccli, carrots, corn, flour, oregano, garlic powder, tomato sauce, diced tomatos, salt and pepper. Let it simmer and the in the oven with the bisquits. I loved it! Thanks I will be making this again!
