About this Cook
I'd rather cook a delicious meal than go out and have someone cook for me. I enjoy knowing exactly what goes into my meal (weather it's healthy or not!). I'm a high school science teacher, and love to cook for my wife. Before I met her she could make maybe mac-n-cheese and toast. Now I have her making Chilean Sea Bass with a mango salsa all by herself! I can take a bunch of ingredients and make something GOOD out of them.
My favorite things to cook
Cedar Plank Salmon with salt/pepper/brown sugar, penne rustica, red pasta sauce, serloin steak with sauted mushrooms and a baked potato, chilean sea bass with mango salsa, fettucini alfredo...I can go on and on!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My father is great at taking random ingredients and making a meal out of them! Much of my inspiration came from him.
My cooking triumphs
Making a delicious and full-course thanksgiving dinner entirely by myself the first time with no problems. Only 2 of us eating, but I made enough for at least SIX!
My cooking tragedies
Fortunately, I have had no tragedies yet! Just little things like, coulda' used more salt... I think I just jinxed myself!

Classic Macaroni Salad
This is how I make mine most of the time! But instead of adding vinegar, chop up some PICKLES instead!! I also do not add any sugar, tastes better and is much healthier. Hard-boiled egss are also a good addition.

Freaken' incredible! Best NE clam chowder I have ever had and it came from my stove! My wife also said it was the best she had ever tasted.

Crab Dip
AWESOME! It actually tasted better than some restaraunt's dip I've had!
