About this Cook
I'm 31 yrs new and have been married for 13 yrs. my husband and i have 4 beautiful children ages 12, 9, 7, and 6,we started early. love to cook most of the time but really enjoy a night off from time to time.
My favorite things to cook
my favorite things to cook are really bad for you foods. (cookies cakes, and foods full of fat) which doesn't help my hips.
My favorite family cooking traditions
favorite traditions are thanksgiving at my in laws and reunions.being married to a man who has 9 other brothers and sisters, gives me a great opportunity and a large test group for new things. we all bring different things.
My cooking triumphs
i have this one bread that my family loves it is just a simple banana nut bread that i have been making since i was 13 just with my own little twist.what i do is split the amount of vanilla and add half vanilla and half almond extract. it really tastes good and very aromatic.
My cooking tragedies
wow do i have to tell you all of them. I've made angel food cakes the weren't so fluffy cookies that aren't chewy and biscuits that didn't rise.but that's just a few. there are really too many to put on here. trial and error a lot of them. but we all learn from our mistakes.

this was an absolute delicious meal served with mashed potatoes the meat was tender and moist and the gravy was great with potatoes.i will definitely make this again. i wonder if it works well with London broil?

Beef Stew VI
this was a great starter for me. stuck almost to the recipe. i didn't have cubes so i used the granules instead. also ended up using more water as i added more veggies,( love those little devils). used olive oil for a little healthier stew. i also coated the meat in a flour and Montreal steak seasoning mixture before cooking.other wise was a great stew, and as it was raining and extremely windy last night a great warm meal for the night.

I've made it exactly as the directions and have also improvised as well. tonight I'm going to improves again as i have no chili sauce.this is an absolute awesome recipe, with a little spice and sweetness it really takes the cake.my family really loves it i have 4 kids ranging from 14-8 and they can't get enough. even darling hubby loves them and hes not a big ribs fan. again the BBQ will be used as well as the ketchup and all the ingredients I'm sure it will be a big hit. thank you for this wonderfully tasty dish.
