About this Cook
I'm a newly wed with a busy work schedule. I'm always looking for things that are great fresh and leftover (my husband takes the leftovers to work.)
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I also love anything in the slow cooker- not because I'm lazy but because I love the way the smell slowly fills the house. I'm also pretty adventurous when it comes to cooking. I'll try anything once.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandpa's pasta sauce.
My cooking triumphs
My grandpa passed away before he taught anyone how to make the sauce. I think I've come pretty close to it and it's delicious.
My cooking tragedies
My first attempt at making an omelet for my husband was terrible. My dad called in the middle and I was talking to him and I flipped it to late so the egg was all dried out on one side.

Cake Balls
These are AMAZING! My sister and I made them the other day because it sounded like fun- they were SO easy to make and not nearly as messy as I thought. We made white cake with strawberry frosting dipped in milk chocolate and white cake with banana frosting (we blended banana instant pudding into whipped frosting) dipped in milk chocolate. We are making the banana ones for Easter as well as cherry chip cake with cherry frosting dipped in dark chocolate and cheese cake filling with graham crackers crumbs dipped in dark chocolate. There are so many fun things you can do with this!

Cream Puff Shells
This was okay. Not really what I was hoping for. Sort of bland.
