Slow-Cooked Swiss Steak
Originally made this as written. It was okay and easy. A bit bland for us. The second time increased the onions to 2 onions, added garlic (more o/g is our preference) and added 1/2 can (tomato sauce can) of beef broth. Perfect!! Definitely a winner. This is a great basis for the slow cooker recipe. I gave four stars for the potential.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
This receipe was okay. Easy to make. Good for large groups or when you need a togo meal, but can't say this will frequent our table.

Slow Cooker Carnitas
This recipe is wonderful and found a new place in my rotation. As it drives me crazy to see reviews that do not resemble the original recipe at all, I followed this recipe exactly the first time -- To Live For!!. The second time, I used pork loin instead, because I had it, but was concerned it would not be as good due to the leaness. If you are like me and are trying to cut some fat from your diet, don't be afraid of this substitute. The pork was great, tender and you don't miss the fat.
