About this Cook
I am busy married mother of 3 who works full time and loves to try new things. I have a tiny kitchen and I can sure make a big mess in it!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake - whether it's a cake or a casserole. I even make chili in the oven instead of on the stove.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love holiday cooking. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite. The kids like to help bake Christmas cookies and make fudge and other cute treats.
My cooking triumphs
I have practically ruined people for all carrot cakes except mine. I feel triumphant every time any cake comes out of the bundt pan! And the kids love my veggie soups and homemade pizza.
My cooking tragedies
Tried to make a three layer german chocolate cake in to a two layer german chocolate cake and what bubbled over set my oven on fire! I have burned several units out of the poor old stove - might have to replace it soon.

INCREDIBLE Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies
What a great recipe! Everyone loves them. I also had to get the chips online, but they were worth the expense. I can't wait to try these with blueberry and strawberry chips, but my favorite will always be the raspberry!

Zucchini Brownies
Great brownies. I agree with previous post - let the batter sit for a few minutes after adding the zucchini and it will have much more moisture. The frosting is great also.

Cheese Babka
This was a beautiful bread. The top side was even more gorgeous than the bundt side. The dough was very sticky - I had to add another cup of flour before and at least one cup during the kneading process (almost 2 more cups than recipe called for). I also had to sub cream cheese for farmer's cheese - my store just didn't have it. The dough was tender and soft and sweet and wonderful. And the house smelled fabulous as well. Great recipe. Will make again.
