About this Cook
Currently, I have 3 children. I am working at reducing the cost of our grocery budget, eating Low Fat and vegetarian, adding more whole grains and real foods but still having the flavorful and fun food that we know and love.
My favorite things to cook
Bread, pies, chinese food, anything with spices, herbs, and flavor.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Czechoslovakain.. Or however it is spelled... I want to cook like my grandmother used to cook.

Snickerdoodles I
These are so good, we followed the directions exactly except cooked it around 350 instead of 375 (my oven tends to be hot). I added the vanilla other reviewers suggested and had to use butter because i had no shortening.. EVERYONE in my family LOVED these...

We love the versatility of this recipe!! Cheesey and good.. And remember change the cheese change the taste, we have made it with provolone, cheddar, mozza, parmessan.. And it still tastes good.

Sloppy Sams
I have to rate this a 5, although I added some brown sugar because I like my joes sweeter.. My husband said I should have left the recipe as is and is sure he would have loved the more savory version. Our three year old ate all his sloppy and none of his bun. I did not find this recipe bland and wonder if for those people who said it seemed bland if it was the lentils or tomatoes or paste used???
