Coconut Rum Balls

Very tasty! I accidentally bought chicken strips which were harder to cook well. The honey mustard sauce is very delicious! Following the advice of others, I did not add the corn syrup. It looks gross, but tastes great.

Lola's Horchata

This tasted good. There was a little too much cinnamon for our liking and you could feel it scratch your throat as you drank it. Otherwise, it was pretty good!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

This is WAY better than the recipe on the quaker box! It has more of that hearty oat feel. I didn't use walnuts in mine so I just added extra chips. I made them again with raisins instead of chips and they were even more amazing! Thanks for this recipe!

My Best Clam Chowder

Very good clam chowder! I think I added more red wine vinegar than it called for because I thought it needed a little more. I will make this again!

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones

At first taste they are pretty good, but after a while the spinach are ricotta gets to you. I would like to try this recipe again with a smaller filling-to-dough ratio. Also, maybe with something to add to the filling such as pepperoni or bacon bits.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Yummy! This cake is very moist. I want to try it again but with a layer of cherries in the middle. My 4 roommates absolutely loved it and I will make it again.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Very tasty! I have made this twice. The first time I followed the recipe exactly except I used penne pasta. I also accidentally bought half&half instead of whipping cream. It turned out good though, as I just added a little flour to thicken up the sauce and it was AMAZING! I also added more cajun seasoning than the recipe called for. The second time I made it I used the heavy cream and I didn't like it as much because I thought the sauce was too runny (even after letting it simmer for a long time). Next time I will add flour again.

Cottage Cheese Spinach Chicken

This was pretty good chicken! My stove didn't work so I made it on a skillet w/ the butter and covered it for about 10min on the first side and 7 on the other. It was a very juicy. I can see what people mean about the bland flavor. The chicken was really good (because I covered it in cajun seasoning) but the filling could use just a little kick. Next time I will try peoples suggestion of garlic to see if that helps. A bit of parmesan cheese could be tasty too.

Kitty Litter Cake

I made this cake for my girlfriend for valentines day with a heart made out of the poo. She loved it and couldn't stop laughing. Great idea. Tastes OK, just a little mushy for my liking.

Brandy Flamed Peppercorn Steak

This was very fun to make. The sauce tastes exactly like beef stroganoff, which was slightly disappointing, but it did taste very good. We had to add more wine when cooking the steaks because it was drying up. Plus, lighting food on fire is always a plus.

It's Chili by George!!

I made it in a crock pot and I did not add the green peppers, but this was amazing chili! A couple of my roomates, who claim to not like chili even had a bowl. I might try adding some small chunks of tomato next time just for kicks.
