Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

I took the advice of others and basted my pork roast every 20 minutes. I made another batch of the "glaze" 1/2 way during cooking time b/c I was scared all the glaze was evaporating....I'm glad I did b/c we had plenty to pour over rice which was excellent. Will make again. Thanks!

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

This recipe turned out very good....I just couldn't give it a 5 b/c it didn't knock my socks off...altho it was SUPER EASY. My husband really thought it was good....I will make again and will probably make more marinade to bake it in and to dip it in while eating b/c we like sauce!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Fixed these for a party tonight....followed recipe to a T...LOVED them and got many compliments and requests for recipe! These were SIMPLE and GREAT TASTING! Some even commented these were better than the beans at our local (awesome) Mexican restaurant! These are def a keeper and I will make again! Thanks a lot!

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Used 4 egg yolks, 2 cans condensed milk and 3/4 cup Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice...PERFECT! Many at work said it was the best they'd ever had!

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Loved this recipe! Like someone said before...it was nice to fix a tenderloin that didn't have to be marinated for hours! I used the club crackers (with Italian dsg. seasoning) as one reviewer suggested....was very good but next time I want to try the Italian bread crumbs.

Gooey Butter Cake II

I should have listened to the reviews that said 2-3 cups powdered sugar were plenty! I used 4 cups - and while it was good and people ate it, it was just too sweet....and I never say that! I would make again, but next time, I'll probably only use 2 cups!

Classic Bran Muffins

I loved these muffins. I used Splenda brown sugar.... and applesauce in place of the oil to cut calories and they turned out perfect. However, after looking over the recipe just now, hubby informs me he thinks he only put in 1/2 cup of All Bran......... Oh well, they are VERY good and since cutting out 2/3 of the All Bran saved me 160 calories, maybe next time I'll just use 1 cup of bran.

Red, White and Bleu Slaw

I LOVE this recipe! I have never used the tomatoes and it is wonderful every time. My husband can't get enough - we make it as a side dish for BLT's and grilled goodies...but also pile it on grilled hamburgers, grilled pork tenderloin..you name it! The only reason I DON'T make it as much as I'd like are the calories...b/c when I do make it...I'm constantly going to the refrig and getting "just a bite"!

Jazzy Green Bean Casserole

I made this for a church picnic; it was a nice change from the original green bean casserole....I don't think I'd ever go back to the original. I forgot to buy jalapenos as one suggested so used red pepper flakes to add a little zip. I got a little carried away and it was a bit spicy for some, however, my husband loved it.

Heath Bar Pie

I was looking for a heath bar cake...but this pie recipe was all I found under "heath bar". I reluctantly made the pie because it sounded easy and I didn't have time to go researching a lot of recipes. My 25 year old step-son, who loves heath bars, was coming to dinner on his birthday and I wanted something to put a candle in! To my delight...the pie was very good. The birthday boy loved it....as did the rest of the family. I will make this one again. Very easy and de-lish!

BLT Pasta Salad

I made this for a baby shower; I was not impressed with this salad but my guests loved it. I think I should have used bacon ranch dressing as some suggested....I tried to doctor it up with celery salt but it still didn't do anything for me...however, my guests raved about it....go figure.

THE Pasta Salad

I made this for a baby shower...it got good reviews, however I tweeked it a lot b/f I served it. I thought it was very dry so tripled the dressing....used cayenne pepper instead of paprika and new time I'll try cubed swiss cheese instead of shredded b/c the shredded cheese gets lost and is hard to taste. I added lots more shredded cheese to mine.

Succulent Pork Roast

This roast was dissappointing. It was tender and moist which is why I gave it 3 stars...but it had no taste and I had to end up throwing BBQ sauce on the leftovers to get anyone to eat it. Will not try again.
