I am a stay at home mom to two very energetic boys who both have an allergy to dairy protein. My fabulous husband is a garborator and we're all trying to eat as healthy as possible.

I love finding interesting and unique recipes to serve for guests. I am new to cooking, so I am also trying to learn all the basics to keep my family going on a day-to-day basis.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom and my great aunts made the most amazing Scottish soup - hearty and wholesome. I am always tweaking my soup recipes to try and achieve their perfection!
My cooking triumphs
I am quite proud of how many delicious meals I can make that are completely free of dairy. It is always fun to serve new guests who do not know of our allergy and they have no idea the food is dairy free until the end.
My cooking tragedies
Hmm... well, I once tried making bacon bits whilst in Zambia. The result was a disgusting gooey mess - completely inedible!
