Fudgy Brownies I

These were not good at all. They had no flavor, and my Fiance even said "are these suppose to be good for you or something, why is there no taste". That should sum it up for most of you. I used Dutch Process cocoa, I guess it could be the problem, but other than that followed the recipe to a T. I wouldnt reccommend these. Sorry.

Russian Tea Cakes I

These are great for those who love russian tea cakes, a great flavor. Make sure to bake them for the whole 12 min to make sure they are hardened, otherwise they crumble slightly.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Im giving this 3 stars because I feel like it was good, but it wasnt Amazing. I felt it had a good flavor, but the consistency wasnt what I had expected. I like my eggnog thick. It does have a great spectrum of spicey after tastes which I did enjoy. I would reccommend making a half batch the first time you make it just to make sure you enjoy it before going through an entire dozen eggs. Do try, cause it is tasty.

Hot Spiced Cider

Good, But I will keep looking for something with a bit more spice. I make it alot actually, because its easy. I make it differnt than the instructions imply and I am assuming that it would taste better if I had a coffee maker or a slow cooker, so to compromise, I make it stove top in my teapot with a giant tea bag and bring it to a boil. It is a quick, easy tasty drink.

Blue Cheese Dressing

Very very good. Made buttermilk by using 3.5% milk and adding 1 Tablespoon lemon juice and allowed to rest 10 min, stir well. Had really good flavor, could taste blue cheese perfectly.

French Toast Casserole

This recipe is true to its name, it tastes just like French toast. I will add more cinnamon next time, and sub the white for brown sugar. My Fiance LOVED it.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

I thought this was an easy recipe. My peanut butter was pretty raw, meaning it was pure peanut and not much butter.So the cookies came out a bit dry. SO I would reccommend Jiffy or something a bit mainstream, mass made. Only for the moisture. Otherwise, the texture and the taste was very very good. I baked mine at 350 F for 10 min, even after putting the dough in the fridge after each batch.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

It was very delicious. I will make agian for sure. I did, however, go by the advice of some of the other cooks. I brushed an egg white on the bottom shell, I added corn, I added about 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder and some seasoning. I boiled the chicken and veggies in broth instead of water.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

This turned out very good. The crust didnt get to brown, I used butter instead of shortening because they dont sell it where I live. The flavor was very buttery, but the Fiance said he loved that about it. I would have chosen to use shortening, but it did give a very rich crust flavor, probably amazing with banana cream pie. Reccommend to try.

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

I thought this had a great flavor. The fish I used wasnt fresh, since I live in a landlocked place, so it was a bit fishier than IM use to. I soaked it in milk to get some of the fishy taste out and it did help. The dill and lemon went perfect together and I made homemade tarter sauce to go with it. Wonderful and will make agian!

Apple Pie I

This was a fantastic pie. I made it with the Basic Flaky Pie Crust recipe found on this site. Make sure to use fresh apples, as when they are too ripe the filling gets runny. Also allow to set after baking. It will retain the structure better.

Ice Cream Cake Roll

This actually turned out better than I thought it would. It furfilled my amazing craving for a roll cake from Baskin Robbins. Next time, I will add more cocoa to the cake for a richer chocolate, and use just vanilla ice cream. Instead of making the chocolate sauce supplied, I wanted something more similiar to the one at BR, so I used Hot Fudge in a jar without heating it. It gave it a gorgeous shine. Id reccommend this cake, its something not many people have had, and its fun to make.

Chocolate Frosting I

This frosting tasted very good. I made it with 3/4 of a cup of cocoa instead of the 1/3 cup. It was a bit grainy so make sure you sift the powdered sugar.

Lemon Sorbet

Taste was great, the consistency wasnt as I had hoped, it was my fault though because I dont have an ice cream maker and you have to make sure you stir every hour. It makes for a great shaved ice.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

This was a delight. Full of flavor, and my Fiance said it was a keeper, since he is my official taste tester! I made a few changes, but I am sure that the original is not far from the changes and it was a wonderful soup. Highly recommend.

Red Raspberry Vinaigrette

This was good. I think ill add a twist of lime next time. I also added a bit more vinegar because it was way too sweet without it. Maybe the jam I used though.. I also subbed the rice for cider.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

This was good, I didnt have a deep fryer so I did it in a wok. I felt that there should have been a more cripy texture so I put them in in the oven after I fried them and they turned out a little crispier.
