Very good. I think it might take making them a few times to get it down and pretty. Taste was awesome!

Glazed Meatloaf I

I'm giving this only 4 stars because it could have been better had we chopped the onion smaller. If we had done that it would have been a 5!

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
This was so good! I used a kitchen aid which I think helped make it really creamy. If it was not for this frosting my cake would have been a total flop. Thanks for sharing!

Yellow Cake Made from Scratch

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
I thought this was terrible. I did not have a problem with moisture at all. I had the opposite problem. The cake kept sinking in in the middle. I made it three times making sure I did not do something wrong. Maybe it's my oven but I have never had a problem like this before. When I served it my 7 year old asked "why did you put chocolate frosting on corn bread" and i had to admit it kinda did taste like corn bread.

Chocolate Coconut Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
I might have done something wrong. Mine never really hardened up. It did taste good thought. I tried to toast the coconut before I made the candy because I like the flavor better and so that might have changed the overall outcome. So I hope you have better luck than I did. We drizzled with melted chocolate too!

Zucchini Bread V

Love it with butter! I added a little grated carrot and did not really measure my zucchini because I like a lot of zucchini in my bread. This recipe baked well and my family loved it!

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
This was truly amazingly easy! This was my first time making Irish soda bread and this was the perfect recipe to get started with. I made two batches. One I made exactly as the recipe suggests and the other I wanted to be a bit like a scone so I added dried cherries to the dough and raw sugar to the top. Both where very good! My family will make this time and time again! Thank you for sharing!

Irish Bananas

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
I think the only thing Irish about this recipe is the whisky. It was ok. If you want to make it really good...sprinkle a little cinnamon and some toasted coconut over the ice cream. We tried it with a brandy as well and just lit the thing on fire. That was the best!!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
This was amazing. I did the three eggs but next time I'm going for the four egger. I served it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a scoop of homemade whipped cream, and I doused it with a thin caramel sauce. It was really really good. It's a keeper recipe! -Janene

Caramel Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
Ok, I tried this despite the reviews because I was looking for a thin caramel sauce to pore over bread pudding. The other reviews helped me a lot. I did not use as much water and I added a little more brown sugar and syrup and it made my bread pudding killer! Next time I am going to add chopped toasted pecans. -Janene

Honey Carrots With a Hint of Ginger

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
These where really good. I made with fresh squeezed orange juice instead of lemon juice but it never caramelized. It was to much liquid. But the end result was tender sweet good flavored carrots that where very pretty on the plate. I server with rotisserie pork loin, green beans, and potatoes. Our guest loved the meal! -Janene

This was my very first attempt at making cheese cake and it turned out thick and beautiful like the real thing! I bought some raspberry pastry filling to dribble over it and it tasted wonderful. I'm so impressed with myself I can't wait to make it again. It was rich and delicious! -Janene

Gourmet Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
This was really good but I did make a few changes. I used red grapes instead of the green and I replaced the oranges with chunks of fresh pineapple. I served on wheat bread but I don't think it would matter what it was served on even if it was just a spoon. It was awesome!
