I am a married Mother of three, and a Grandmother to one. I am transplanted to south, where there is not nearly enough ethnic food for me. So out of need I learned to make my own. I love my job in the hospital where I work full time as a Nurse, and If I hit the lottery...There is no doubt i'm quitting and moving to the caribbean :) We frequently entertain and my 17 & 14 year old boys are both falling in love with cooking. I am happy to have their help as everything in my kitchen is unisex operational. I love ethnic cooking. Greek, Italian, Polish,Asian,Mexican. At Easter we make homemade pierogi, so many the entire dining room table is full of them! Learning to master phyllo dough! Baklava is a standard for the holidays . I remember my first cherry pie(I was 8 )...I forgot the sugar, my Dad never said a word except how good it was. :)
