Barbequed Ribs

Great recipe and great cooking technique. I think I got the most out of the technique because I used my own rub and *gasp* bottled barbeque sauce. The sauce was from Montgomery Inn in Cincy, OH, so I knew it would be ok. :) With this recipe, BBQ ribs are easy to make and not as daunting as I thought!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

A good recipes for a base. I added blueberries after I put them on the skillet. (then they don't break in the batter). Pretty good. Will make again.

Refreshing Summer Orzo Salad

Very good, but I didn't have enough feta, unfortunately. I did use some parmesan to fill in the gaps, but I think feta would have been best. I also didn't put in the spinach because my pan wouldn't fit it. Finally, I added roasted red peppers and it looked (and tasted) great! Enjoy.

Southwest Chicken

Love it Love it! I did use Pinto beans which when they broke down, they acted more like a refried bean coating. Tastes good, but not visually appealing. Would just use black beans, some garlic and a little bit of chili next time. Love the corn in there.

Pumpkin Soup

Only ok. A lot of work for a pretty bland result. The pumpkin was everywhere because of the 1 cup processing. Don't think I will do again.

Special Strip Steaks

Pretty easy steak dish. Don't expect drippings because for me, they created this wonderful glaze for the meat while cooking. A great way to class up a dinner. Awesome with Scallops in a white wine sauce.

Scallops with White Wine Sauce I

LOVE THIS RECIPE. I made this for Christmas Eve dinner with a Prime Rib Roast and it was the perfect compliment. But Please note DO NOT USE THE STATED AMOUNT OF BUTTER. I used 2 TBS for th 6 servings. Anything over that, add the butter a TBS at a time as recommeneded, but when you think it's too much butter STOP. I only used 3 TBS for 10 people.

Easy OREO Truffles

They taste great, but a lot of assembly. Instead of dipping each "ball" I took the spoon and drizzled the chocolate on top. I used only one package of chocolate morsels this way instead of two. Made it super easy and less messy. Thanks for the recipe.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

awesome. simply awesome and easy! I've made this a couple times and love it. I would recommend using a broiler pan so the butter from the sauce doesn't stay on the fish. Love it!

Roasted Eggplant and Mushrooms

Honestly it was pretty much a mushy mess after I was done. The mushrooms were good, but in order to get good mushrooms, the other items, especially the eggplant was too smooshy for my taste. It may have been better with more oil, less water and cooked on a cookie sheet or something metal.

Skillet Balsamic Chicken

Good recipe. I halfed it, but used about 75% of the vinegars and it was yummy. I will make again. Don't waste your time on the rue afterwards. Just cook it until the liquid is evaporated.
