About this Cook
I'm a 24 year old Grad Student in clinical psychology. I love to cook and love to eat more. That makes me look for recipes that are fun to cook, taste fantastic yet aren't too costly on my waistline. I'm also a bit of a clutz and very easily distracted so the easier the better.
My favorite things to cook
Home made bread, soup, schechuan, pasta and desserts
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas and Thanksgiving, my family spends all day making stuffing, creamed potatoes, turkey and watergate salad.
My cooking triumphs
I once made the best cheesecake with a melba topping. It was a total fluke but it looked like a magazine cover and tasted fantastic!
My cooking tragedies
Strogonoff. I keep trying and I keep failing.

Ricotta Eggplant Rolls
This recipe is excellent! I did half the way it says and grilled half of my eggplant instead for a lighter version and it was wonderful too.

Golden Egg Bread
It was a little dry and flavorless but pretty good. I didn't use a bread machine though so that might have had something to do with it. Might be really good with herbs though. Mine kind of had a Texas toast type of consistency.

Chicken Marsala
This was excellent! I followed other reviewer's advice, doubled the sauce and added some half and half and a bit of cornstarch at the end. It only gets a 4 because I think you really need to double the sauce to have enough and the cream in the sauce really makes it.
