I daydream of baking... Cookies, cakes, and quick breads are my favorites, but I try not to discriminate! Huge, noisy, crowded Thanksgiving and Christimas dinners filled with delicious food and family...I know, very traditional, right? My father, who is an absolute cookie snob ("The cookie has to been flat but chewy, no chocolate chips but lots of nut, and not too sweet...")amazingly approved of a cookie recipe that I created..ah, one of life's biggest challenges... I'm a klutz...Catching oven-mitts on fire, cookbooks on fire, pork roasts on fire, dropping a pie while taking it out of the oven, licking the spoon that I used seconds beforehand to stir the homemade caramel I was making (stupid, stupid girl...I have no will power and clearly, no common sense) and the list goes on and will undoubtedly continue:)
