About this Cook
I am a SAHM to 2 little girls. I adore cooking and hope to pass on to my girls this same passion. I am a foodie at heart.
My favorite things to cook
Soups and Stews. Comfort food is always a good place to start, however, I love entertaining and making my guests gastronomically happy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday dinners are fun to plan and cook. My family and I are working out how to incorprate new traditions to make old ones our own.
My cooking triumphs
Holiday suppers. Large sit down suppers for 10+. I recently did a stuffed crown roast of pork that was a big hit.
My cooking tragedies
I can't seem to bake very well - which is good...don't really need to eat too much baking.

Apple, Cranberry, and Pear Crisp
Many good comments on this dish. It cooked to a nice consistencey, a pretty pink colour and a wonderful sweet and tart taste. Served warm with vanilla ice cream!
