Marmalade-Glazed Carrots

This is definately a five star recipe. I made just as directed and the carrots were a big hit. I can not wait to serve these again at our Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks for an awesome recipe.

Becky's Chicken Salad

We had a few chicken breasts left over from dinner that had been baked in the oven. I decided to try this recipe and am so glad that I did! It was fantastic prepared just as stated in the recipe. We served it on fresh baked whole wheat bread with chips. It was a great summer meal.

Pasta Pomodoro

What a fabulous pasta recipe! It is light and so fresh tasting. I was excited to get to use the fresh tomatoes and basil from my garden and who can go wrong with angel hair pasta? We loved this and will definately be adding this to our meal rotation.

Garlic and Onion Burgers

What a wonderful burger! We made these exactly as the recipe states, grilling them outside on the BBQ. We brought them inside and placed them between 2 slices of buttered sourdough bread, topping each burger with provolone cheese. We then grilled them in a frying pan as you would when making grilled cheese sandwiches. DELICIOUS!

Classic Macaroni Salad

What a yummy salad recipe! I liked that there were the flavors of the peppers and onion (I added 1/2 of an onion instead of the whole thing), yet the sauce is so sweet. I did add the grated carrot which added a nice color. Also, I prepared the salad using a 22 oz. bag of large shell pasta and that was just the right amount to get the pasta/sauce proportioned just right and it looked so appealing with the shells.

Cinnamon Rolls III

What beautiful rolls! I do not have a bread machine, so instead I just mixed all of the ingredients in my stand mixer and then kneaded the dough on a floured surface until it was nice and smooth. I allowed to rise in a greased bowl for about an hour and then followed the rest of the recipe. Wonderful flavor, texture, and appearance. I will surely be making these again!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

YUMMY! This was a wonderful cake recipe. I prepared just as stated in the recipe only substituting milk chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chocolate chips. The cake had a great texture, came out of the pan perfectly, and the chocolate chips made it heavenly. I drizzled the cake with Satiny Chocolate Glaze as others have suggested. Definately a keeper!!!

This was delicious! I do not have a double broiler, so I just prepared the recipe in a saucepan and melted everything together over low heat. The consistancy and flavor were great.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

I have already made these rolls twice this week. They have been a really big hit. I don't have a bread maker so I just mixed the ingredients in my Kitchen Aid stand mixer and then on a floured counter top kneaded the dough until it was smooth. After letting it rise for about an hour in an oiled bowl, I followed the rest of the recipe and shaped the rolls. They rose again and baked up so soft and delicious. I'm sure I will make these many more times (probably just in the next couple of weeks!!).

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Yea! I have finally found a great lemon bar recipe. I baked these in a 9 by 9" square pan for thicker bars. The cooking time was longer but the results were amazing.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Wow! Thank you for putting my husband's 2 very favorite things (peanut butter and chocolate) into one cookie. These were a HUGE hit with our family. The chocolate cookie dough turned out a little dry at first but I just added a tablespoonful or two of water and the dough was beautiful. What a fun cookie recipe!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Best Ever Pasta Salad

I have made this pasta salad for a few years now, and it ALWAYS gets rave reviews. I am asked for the recipe every time I make this salad. It is definately a family favorite! I like to make this salad using bow tie pasta. I think it is very important to allow time for the flavors to mix. Make sure to refrigerate the salad for a few hours before serving. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!!

Sweet and Sour Chicken II

This has quickly become a new favorite in our family. Each time I have made it I am reminded just how wonderful it is. One friend of mine made this and called me immediatly afterwards. She said that she and her husband agreed that they had never eaten anything this good in a Chinese restaurant before!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

If you need a good dose of chocolate, these cookies are for you! We make these regularly using 1/2 white chips and 1/2 chocolate chips. These cookies are very rich, almost fudgy. They sure are yummy.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I make a lot of cookies and share them with neighbors and friends. This is, without question, my very most requested cookie. I do have a few tips of advice: First, the dough seems really sticky when you are just through making it, don't add any extra flour. Put it in the refrigerator for the suggested time and it will be fine. Second: Don't mess with the dought too much. I plop it right onto a floured counter top and pat it gently with my hands, roll it out quickly and cut it. It has been my experience that the less I touch the dough, the better the cookies turn out. Third: I always use butter flavored shortening in my cookies. Don't forget to add the 6 tsp. of water per cup of shortening, as suggested on the back of the Crisco tub. Fourth: Frost with Butter Cream Frosting II. I really think this makes the cookies the best that they can be. Enjoy!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Great recipe! We loved this meal. I had no white wine, so substituted chicken broth in its place and it turned out spectacular. There were no leftovers. We will definately make this again.
