Farmer's Strata

For years our family has been making a strata for Christmas morning breakfast. I have always thought it was good, but it was not the best that it could be. I have been on a hunt to find a new, better recipe. I FOUND IT! I absolutely loved the addition of potatoes. Instead of ham, I substituted 1/2 lb. of country style sausage. I'm sure ham would be awesome as well. Thanks for a wonderful recipe. I know that we will make this a tradition in our home.

Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

I had terrible, aweful luck with this recipe. I followed it exactly. The darn brownie won't come out of the cupcake paper and the appearance of these things is aweful. I feel that I just wasted a lot of money on ingredients. If you want to stick a peanut butter cup into something fantastic, try the Peanut Butter Cup Cookies recipe from this site.

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Have you ever taken a bite of something that is so delicious it makes your eyes close and you hear this mmmmmm noise coming from your own mouth? After altering this recipe as others suggested, I was doing those things! And I'm not the only one, I noticed our friends that we shared this pie with, doing the exact same thing! I used 1 c. of fresh key lime juice (it took a lot, like 30 key limes...but it was worth it!), 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk, and 4 egg yolks. I let it bake about 30 minutes and served it with freshly whipped cream. HOLY COW! Yum! I just ate the last piece for breakfast this morning and I am already craving more!

Really good! We enjoyed it for a few days without having it go soggy or gross. We used turkey and roast beef as our meat choices, and did everything else the same.

Honey Glazed Ham

This recipe made a such yummy ham! I cooked it in my slow cooker on low heat for about 7 hours with the glaze, basting every 1/2 hour or so. I didn't have whole cloves, so I just sprinkled a little bit of ground cloves over my ham before pouring the glaze over the top. The results were amazing.

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Yum! I just had to put a piece of gum in my mouth so that I would stop eating these cookies. I substituted 1 c. of craisins for the nuts and they are perfect. They hold their shape nice, and they have this great texture...even today, and I made them yesterday. Try this recipe! It is well worth it.

Lemon Chicken Tenders

What a unique flavor. Curry is something that I don't cook with very much, but really enjoyed in this recipe. The chicken came out very tender and juicy. We will surely be using this recipe again.

Italian Vegetable Soup

My dear grandma, a few years ago, made her way onto the internet for the first time looking for a new recipe to make our family a nice dinner. She found this recipe and it quickly became a family favorite. She made it quite a bit. My grandma passed away 2 years ago. This recipe is a fond reminder to me of being in the kitchen with my grandma. It will be in our family for many years not only as a wonderful soup recipe, but as a great reminder of our wonderful Coral.

Burrito Pie

I did not like this recipe. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is because my 4 year old son actually woofed it down (highly unusual) and told me "Thank you for cooking this yummy dinner" (even more unusual). The flavors didn't mix well to me. I usually really like recipes like this. Maybe I was just having an off day!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

What a wonderful chicken recipe! My family loved this. I loved it so much that I sent the recipe out to all of my recipe collecting friends. I made it just as stated except that I had the Italian seasoned bread crumbs, so I used those and omitted the parsley and oregano. The chicken came out tender and juicy. We will definately be making this often. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Key Lime Pie VIII

I made this recipe just as stated and the pie was fine, but not the kind of Key Lime Pie recipe that I was looking for. It did have a nice tangy flavor and a good amount of sweetness. It was just way too fluffy. I served this at a dinner party and only 2 out of 6 of us ate our whole piece of pie. Everyone else had a bite or two and threw in the towel.

Becky's Chicken Salad

We had a few chicken breasts left over from dinner that had been baked in the oven. I decided to try this recipe and am so glad that I did! It was fantastic prepared just as stated in the recipe. We served it on fresh baked whole wheat bread with chips. It was a great summer meal.

Pasta Pomodoro

What a fabulous pasta recipe! It is light and so fresh tasting. I was excited to get to use the fresh tomatoes and basil from my garden and who can go wrong with angel hair pasta? We loved this and will definately be adding this to our meal rotation.
