I am a grandma living in California and my step-grandchildren live in Chicago where my husband grew up. I met him 10yrs. ago at my job in La Mesa. I was born and raised in San Diego, Ca. I am really not much of a cook but my husband who is half Irish and Italian loves to do the cooking so I let him. I do like to cook if the recipe is easy. My favorite meal to cook is meatloaf which my hubby loves. I also like to bake easy recipes. I am of Mexican descent and I remember my mom and grandma making flour tortillas and beans and enchiladas and the different "caldos" which were so yummy. Don't have any that I can think of except for the meatloaf. Baking cookies that turned out hard as a rock so obviously got thrown out.
