Butter Icing for Cookies

I have never made a cooked frosting for cookies before and was skeptical. My husband who does not like cookies with frosting couldn't stop eating this. My other relatives also loved them and wanted the recipe and for me to make them again.

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

I was put in charge of bringing bread to a dinner party and i thought it would be a treat to bring homemade. I had a box mix on hand thinking I wouldn't have good luck with this. They were incredible and both loaves barely made it around the table. Perfect crust and light and airy on the inside. Can't wait to make it again!

I think I finally found the chocolate chip cookie recipe I have been trying to find for years. These turned out perfectly for me. I did cook them less than stated because I was looking for a chewy cookie and succeeded.

Real Italian Calzones

These were so good! We have looked all over for a recipe like this. Both my husband and myself dislike the soggy versions that we seem to always get in restaurants. This was easy to make and better than eating out. I made the dough in my bread machine on the dough cycle and it turned out perfectly.

These were so yummy!!!! We used cranberries instead of raisins. My 1 year old was wondering around the house and would stop at the cokie jar and say Mmmm!! Thanks for the great recipe!

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

What a great and easy recipe. I didn't have any ham hocks so I went without, I still think this was really good without them. Next time I will plan ahead and make sure I follow the recipe exactly with them to see how the difference is. We will be enjoying this one very soon.

Glazed Apple Cookies

These were so yummy!!!! My 11 month old was crazy about these. I am always looking for a way to sneak in some healthy items into our cookies and this was a great and tasty way to make them. They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake

This is so good!!!!! I added more chocolate powder than adviced and used pecans instead of walnuts since that's what I had. I loved this an so did the family. I also liked that it snuck in oatmeal to make it a little healthier than chocolate cake.

Spinach and Mushroom Casserole

This was good but a little on the salty side. I didn't bake it with the butter to make it a little more on the healthy side. I will make again but eliminate the salt and saute the mushrooms with garlic.

Clone of a Cinnabon

This is one of the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had. My family loved them! I made them smaller since they were an addition to an already large breakfast buffet.
