Stay at home mom of a wonderful little boy! We spend a lot of time outdoors when the weather gets nice. Cooking is a way for me to relax if everyone stays out of my way. I love to read cookbooks and the internet always searching for that perfect recipe to make. I love to challenge myself and my family by trying new things. We used to go out to eat a lot but now we are spending less money and more time at home creating our favorite dishes. Dessert!!!!I love every step of it but especially the final product and making it fancy. I also really enjoy finding the recipe in the rough and trying it out. My family doesn't always enjoy my adventurous cooking but they have learned to accept and eat it! Making homemade potato sausage before Christmas. Now that my mom has passed away it has been my job to carry on our gingerbread men tradition. We make at least a hundred and bag them up individually in cellophane and pass them out to friends and family. It's always big deal when I can get a holiday meal on the table at the same time! Also when I can get everyone to eat what's on the table without complaint and even better is when they say they like it. I actually blew up a stove!!!! Not my fault it was new and they screwed the handle on to tightly when they installed it. Once the oven warmed up the glass expanded and shattered!!!
