Stay at home mom of two wonderful little boys! We spend a lot of time outdoors when the weather gets nice. Cooking is a way for me to relax if everyone stays out of my way. I love to read cookbooks and the internet, always searching for that perfect recipe to make. I love to challenge myself and my family by trying new things. We used to go out to eat a lot but now we are spending less money and more time at home creating our favorite dishes. Dessert!!!!I love every step of it but especially the final product and making it fancy. I also really enjoy finding unique and interesting recipes and trying it out. My family doesn't always enjoy my adventurous cooking but they have learned to accept and eat it! This would have to be our bacon log. This started years ago with an annual bacon party with friends. We stating making this for most holiday events. It's a favorite since you can never go wrong with bacon at our house! It's always big deal when I can get a holiday meal on the table at the same time! Also when I can get everyone to eat what's on the table without complaint and even better is when they say they like it. I actually blew up a stove!!!! Not my fault it was new and they screwed the handle on to tightly when they installed it. Once the oven warmed up the glass expanded and shattered!!!
