Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms
Amazing stuffed mushrooms. I tripled the recipe, brought them to a pot luck this evening and they were all gone within 5 minutes. I used precooked bacon which saved on some time and tasted just as great. I also added fresh garlic, cracked pepper and roasted red pepper seasoning - delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Great cookie recipe. I heeded the advice of others and cut down on the sugar to 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 1/2 cups brown sugar - I may decide to cut down even more next time. I also used margarine instead of butter so I nixed the salt and just added the baking soda to the flour. And finally, I made this a wheat free recipe for my boyfriend who is allergic and substituted 3/4 cup of rice flour for every cup of regular flour. Be sure to leave enough room between spoonfuls of cookie batter on the baking sheet as they cook really flat and end up baking into each other. Thanks for sharing :)

Homesteader Cornbread
I found this to be a great recipe. My boyfriend is lactose intolerant and allergic to wheat so I substituted 3/4 cup rice flour for every cup of wheat flour. As well, I substituted the milk for vanilla flavoured rice milk. I soaked the cornmeal for a good 15 minutes. Instead of baking it in a large baking dish, I made muffins. I don't think I will do this again as the cornbread really stuck to the paper muffin cups. Regardless, however, the cornbread turned out nice and moist and the taste is wonderful with just the perfect amount of sweetness. Thanks for the recipe.
