This is the first time I've made pumpkin cookies, actually, it's the first time I've ever eaten a pumpkin cookie and these are wonderful. Soft and chewy with a great pumpkin taste (and very sweet). I did as other reviewers and used 1c white sugar and 1/2c brown. Next time I will try a cream cheese icing, but the one in this recipe is good too!

Just made this w/my daughters on a whim because I was craving banana bread and had all the (few) ingredients on hand. I followed some other reviewers and used 1/2c white and 1/2c brown sugar, 3/4 tsp vanilla, added nutmeg and cut the flour to 1 1/2 cups (not purposely, but because that's all I had left). Bread was done at 45 min. Very moist and delicious. Will make again (and hopefully I have walnuts on hand next time).

Just finished these up for dinner, very good. Mine did not fall off the bone, but still tasted very good. Doubling the recipe was the only change I made. Also used Sweet Baby Ray's Sauce - yum!
