About this Cook
I'm a college student so I'm always looking for things that are quick, easy, and cheap. I don't cook very often but always pursuade my boyfriend to try new recipes I find on here.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with cheese! I also love spinanch and mushrooms, and anything in a quesadilla! I also experiment with pastas
My favorite family cooking traditions
My sis and I also cook the baked macaroni on christmas and thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
Sausage and Spinanch Alfredo Lasagna. I'm still shocked I pulled this off. Go to my pictures to see this amazing accomplishment.
My cooking tragedies
Pork chops with soy sauce and honey; I really over-cooked the pork chops.

Sausage Spinach Alfredo Lasagna
Being an amateur cook and all, I couldn't believe I pulled this off! I used 1/2 lean ground meat and 1/2 hot sausage, added mushrooms and onions to the meat while cooking, cut the cheddar cheeese to about a cup, and added half a can of diced tomatoes with garlic to the cheese mixture. I also used cottage instead of ricotta cheese and waited 'till last 15 mins. to add the mozz. on top. It was ready in just an hour, too. I highly recommend the diced tomatoes, I wish I would've put the whole can in. If I can make it, anyone can. Don't forget to season the meat well when cooking!

Authentic Huevos Rancheros
This was very quick and easy. This literally takes less than 5 mins. to make! We used regular flour tortillas and turkey bacon for our personal prefernce. I was suprised at how well the egg and beans flavors tasted together. Also, 1 is very filling!

Spinach and Rice Alfredo
This was o.k. My bf said it was a lil' bland so we added extra cheese. It was very easy. We also used frozen spinach, almost a whole pack. We also mixed in some shrimp that we sauteed with butter and garlic. I highly recommend it with shrimp to use as a main dish.
