About this Cook
I have been married for 10 years and have 3 wonderful "picky" kids.
My favorite things to cook
anything easy w/out complicated or strange ingredients.
My cooking triumphs
I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the first time this year and made a very moist, delicious turkey.
My cooking tragedies
I'm one of those that have been very hesitant to make anything new because I don't want to slave over the kitchen for hours just to taste it and find out it is horrible. I've come around though and because of this web site I'm gradually trying new recipes.

Thick Cut-Outs
love this cut out cookie! I add almond extract and it makes a huge difference. Excellent!

Slow-Cooked Short Ribs
It was very good. I'll have to tweak the recipe and see if I can find the flavor that makes it GREAT! Thanks.

Restaurant-Style Taco Meat Seasoning
good. I didn't use ground chuck maybe that would have tasted better. But, it was still better then the powdered packets.
