Hi, I live in the beautiful sierra foothills with my husband and teenage daughter. Our family has 5 pets, 3 cats and 2 chihuahuas, one short hair and one long hair. I work a full time job as a professional engraver, providing plaques, trophies and awards to the community. I come home and cook for my family every night because it is what I like to do. Every week when the adds come out I sit down and plan my meals for the week according to whats on sale (what family is not on a budget these days!) that week. Everything!! My family history is deeply into Hawaiian, Chinese and Japanese cooking. Our family favorites always show up at every reunion. Going to a potluck and having many people ask me for my recipe (I often take at least 5-10 printed copies with me). I dropped a 21 lb. turkey on the floor while trying to transfer it to a platter because I was in to big of a hurry to wait for big strong hubbys help! Of course we all know the 5 second rule so the turkey was served with no one the wiser.
