About this Cook
I'm a bigtime loner, not by choice but because I'm just socially retarded. I love writing, books, and my big dog, Max. I'm an extreme animal lover. My dog is part pit part dalmation and he's the best sweetest big dog ever.
My favorite things to cook
Everything. I love playing with different recipes and modifying them to my own tastes. I never write reviews because I never stick to the recipe. :P
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every holiday my Mom makes rice dressing. We have six kids and it always is our number one demand. :)
My cooking triumphs
I was tired of cooking the same old pork chops, baked or breaded. I experimented for a while and have created my favorite chops. :D
My cooking tragedies
The first time I ever attempted red beans and rice... I burned the the bottom of the beans, tried to switch pots but not only did it taste horrible but my house smelled like burnt beans for two days.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
This recipe was excellent. I salt, pepper, and spiced my chicken to my own taste before putting everything in the crockpot, plus I added frozen veggies when I threw in the biscuit dough. YUM!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
Followed recipe exactally and my husband and I found them to not be very peanut buttery, but still tasty enough.

Cheesy Fried Squash
Delicious!! I also followed reviewers suggestions of dipping in flour seperatly rather than mixing it in, I added a little onion powder and garlic powder, plus some good ole salt and pepper to the flour mixture. I also sprinkled parmesan cheese on top everytime I removed some from the pan. Came out delicious.
