About this Cook
I have 2 brothers 4 sisters so I have a big family. I am the main cook so I luv this website cause it gives me great ideas.
My favorite things to cook
I like to bake more than anything but I also cook a lot of mexican and portugese food. I am half portugese and half mexican so yeah LOL.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My great grandma had a special way of making portugese bread. She made her hair a certain way didnt wear any jewelry except her wedding band and a cross and when she was letting the bread rise she put a cross on it.After she died nobody could make bread like her until they did her little secrets. Now we finally have her traditional portugese bread
My cooking triumphs
I made something so simple.Scalloped potatoes and ham.My lil sister is 6 and so picky but she loved it.Also my dad luved my peanut butter cookies. He made us make them like 2 times a week for 2months cause he luved them so much.
My cooking tragedies
I always put to much salt.My worst cooking tragedy is when I made tamales. They came out tasting sour and then they some came out burnt. Not good at all LOL!

Peanut Buttercup Hot Chocolate
I saw this recipe and thought it was neat of the idea to put peanut butter and hot chocolate together. My sister and I kind of did the recipe a little different. We used crunchy Peanut Butter instead of Creamy. Because of the fact that we were making hot chocolate for four people we decided to make it a little easier. We put warm milk, crunchy peanut butter, and hot chocolate mix and then mixed it in a blender. After, we put marshmellows and served it. It was WONDERFUL!!!! But other then that GREAT recipe and very good idea. It tasted Butter Fingers.

I loved these cookies. I also did the 1/4 more flour and peanut butter and they came out great. I made one batch and they were gone with in an hour. I do have 2 sister a brother my parents and my grandpa in the house lol but they were also. I also rolled them in sugar and they came out even better! GREAT REIPE!
