Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
Great recipe. I used a whole chicken, cut up, made a homemade teriyaki sauce, baked until the sauce thickened on the chicken pieces then put the ranch, cheese and bacon bits on. I broiled a few minutes at the end to brown the cheese. Will definately make again!

Polish Sloppy Joes

Great recipe. I used a 4 pound pork roast as I had no ground beef, baked it, shredded it and put it in the slowcooker for a few hours with 1 quart sauerkraut with juice, 1 cup chicken broth, 1 onion and 3 celery stalks. No bell pepper. Nice change.

Substituted bread crumbs for the crackers and used pollock fillets. Spread filling on top and baked, did not roll. Excellent texture and taste!

Adding ketchup makes this edible and that's it. Will not make again.

Campbell's Kitchen Beef Stir-Fry

Not bad. Cooked the veggies a little first then added the beef (we like our beef medium rare) Added a little more soy sauce, used real garlic and a lot of onion. I used green pepper, celery and carrots for veggies.

I did not think I would like the sweet syrup with salty bacon, I was wrong! Thanks for the great idea!

Mushroom Sauce Baked Pork Chops

Good. Pork stayed moist even though I had to bake 20 minutes longer than noted because of the potatoes taking their sweet time cooking. Next time I will slice them thinner with a mandolin.

Very Good. I would season the pork chops and maybe reduce the sour cream a bit next time.

Excellent. Very similar to the kind my hubby used to be served in Cadets. I add mushrooms and onions. Freezes very well.

Amish Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
This was THE BEST meatloaf I have ever made. I used Ritz crackers and when I added the sauce for a topping, I sliced the loaf then as well so the sauce seeped into the meatloaf. Terrific!
