just got back from turkey and dreaming of doner kebaps. This was pretty good but nothing beats the original. Things I'll change: sauce - I pureed in blender. I will use greek yogurt and omit the 1/2 cucumber with centers in favor of a full cucumber without middles.
I marinated for 40 min and baked for 30 in foil, removed juice and baked for additional 7. meat was very juicy. Cut into thin strips and served with pitas or rice. it was all gone!
